  Rev. Paul Richard Stancil  1926-2023 (age 97) Reverend Paul Richard Stancil, 97, of Ridgewood, passed away January 22, 2023 at the Safe Rest Assisted Living Center following a brief illness. He was born January 3, 1926 to the late Arthur and Rose Stancil. He was the retired pastor of Minersville Baptist Church but currently a member of Cash Memorial Baptist Church.  He is survived by his son, Reverend Jamie Stancil and wife Sheraton, daughters, Maggie Stephenson and husband Ken, and Paula Everett and husband Gene, daughter-in-law, Kaye Stancil, grandchildren, Scott Stancil and wife Amy, Mark Stancil and wife Michelle, Kaitlynn Stancil Jordan and husband CJ, Jake Stephenson and wife Kim, Marsha White and husband Daniel, Todd Stancil and wife Christine, Lisa Freeman and husband Ronnie, and David Stancil and wife Donna, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.   Claire Freeman Jordan 1998-2022 (age 23) Claire Freeman Jordan, 23, of Jonesville, passed away unexpectedly November 18, 2022 due to an automobile accident. Claire was born to Joseph and Carla Freeman on October 22, 1998. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and was a homemaker. Mrs. Jordan was a member of Jordan Baptist Church where she was the pastor’s wife.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dr. Chase Jordan Sr, children, Colton and Cayden Jordan, step-children, CJ Jordan and wife Katelynn, Collette, and Danielle Jordan, step-grandson, Chase Jordan III, grandparents,  Marlin and Ruth Freeman and Carl Mullinax, siblings, Carson Freeman and wife Valerie, and Chloe Freeman, nephew, Jacob Freeman, and a host of cousins, aunts, and uncles.   Arthur Richard Stancil  1952-2022 (age 70) Rev. Arthur Richard Stancil, 70, of Minersville, passed away September 15, 2022, at the McEntire Hospice House, following a battle with lung cancer. He was born September 1, 1952, in Ridgewood, to Rev. Paul Stancil and the late Ruby Stancil. He was most recently the pastor of Minersville First Baptist Church until he retired in March 2021. In addition to his service at Minersville First Baptist Church, he was the pastor at Ridgewood Baptist Church, Clyde Road Baptist Church, and filled in as pastor at Jordan Baptist Church in recent years. Edna was born May 2, 1929, in Ridgewood, to the late R.L. and Nancy Harrison. She was a homemaker and a member of Ridgewood Community Church.
