Debra Davis Mullinax, 78, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2022, at the McEntire Hospice House, following a long battle of cancer. Mrs. Mullinax was born on October 14, 1943, in Ridgewood, and was a daughter of the late Tom and Myrtle Davis. She was a retired School Teacher, a member of Ridgewood Community Church, and a loving mother.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Mullinax, daughter, Carla Freeman and husband Joseph, of Ridgewood, grandchildren, Claire Jordan and husband Chase of Jonesville, Carson Freeman and wife Valerie of Minersville, and Chloe Freeman of Ridgewood, brother, Tommy Davis and wife Darla, of Ridgewood, and sister, Teresa Browder and husband Todd, of Jonesville, great-grandchildren, Chase Jordan Jr and wife Katelynn, Collette Jordan, Danielle Jordan, Colton Jordan, and Cayden Jordan, all of Jonesville, and Jacob Freeman, of Minersville, and 1 great-great-grandson. 

She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Avery Jordan. The family wishes to thank all of the caring staff of the McEntire Hospice House, the members of Ridgewood Community Church and Jordan Baptist Church who have shown support to Mrs. Debra and her family over the last several months. 

Services will be held at 3 pm Monday, September 5, 2022, at the Ridgewood Mortuary & Crematory with Pastor Ryan Holt and Dr. Chase Jordan officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Eastern Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held for an hour prior to the service. In addition to flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the McEntire Hospice House.
