Rev. Paul Richard Stancil 

1926-2023 (age 97)

Reverend Paul Richard Stancil, 97, of Ridgewood, passed away January 22, 2023 at the Safe Rest Assisted Living Center following a brief illness. He was born January 3, 1926 to the late Arthur and Rose Stancil. He was the retired pastor of Minersville Baptist Church but currently a member of Cash Memorial Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his son, Reverend Jamie Stancil and wife Sheraton, daughters, Maggie Stephenson and husband Ken, and Paula Everett and husband Gene, daughter-in-law, Kaye Stancil, grandchildren, Scott Stancil and wife Amy, Mark Stancil and wife Michelle, Kaitlynn Stancil Jordan and husband CJ, Jake Stephenson and wife Kim, Marsha White and husband Daniel, Todd Stancil and wife Christine, Lisa Freeman and husband Ronnie, and David Stancil and wife Donna, and numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Faye Stancil, his son, Reverend Richard Stancil, and his 3 brothers. 

Services will be held at 2 pm January 30, 2023 at Minersville Baptist Church. Rev. Jamie Stancil and Pastor Trason Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cash Memorial Baptist Church. In Lieu of flowers, please donate to the Safe Rest Assisted Living Center Activity Fund.
