Morgan Williams

  Morgan Williams 2004-2023 (age 19) David Morgan Williams, age 19, of Ridgewood, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, following an automobile accident. Morgan was born on May 3, 2004 in Ridgewood and was the youngest child of Daniel and Amanda Williams. He was a 2022 graduate of Ridgewood High School and faithfully attended Jordan Baptist Church where he had been a member since he was eleven. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Emerson Nicole Parker, brother, Daniel Montgomery Williams and wife Hailey, his sister, Marina Williams Bentley and husband Isaac, paternal grandparents, Donald and Leslie Williams, maternal grandfather, Raymond Carpenter and wife Lisa, nephew, Tucker Williams, nieces, Tinley Williams and Jessie Bentley, paternal uncles and aunts, Grady Williams and wife Pam, Sue Tucker and husband Randy, and Thomas Williams and wife Ashley, maternal uncle and aunt, Tina Lail and husband Rick, and a son, David Morgan Williams Jr, who was expected in August.  H

Ashley Hamilton

  Ashley Hamilton 1995-2023 (age 27) Ashley Webster Hamilton, age 27, died Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at her residence following a sudden illness. She was born on November 19, 1995, to Jean Webster who resides in Jonesville. Mrs. Hamilton was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Cash Memorial Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Jonesville Technical College where she had received a degree in English Literature. Ashley was caring, loyal, and smart. She loved giving her time to help other people, especially the elderly. Her caring smile and compassion for those around her will be missed.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 4 years, Darnell Theodore Hamilton, stepsons, Theo Hamilton and Sammy Hamilton, a sister, Kate Webster, and her grandparents, Mark and Elaine Webster. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory from 12 pm until 12:45 pm. A Service will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 28,

Jacob Jordan

  Jacob Jordan July 23, 2023 Jacob C. Jordan, was born and passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 in Jonesville at the Walton Hospital. He was a son of Chase "CJ" Jordan Jr, and Katelynn Stancil Jordan.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Chase and Erica Jordan, maternal grandmother, Sheri Stancil, paternal great-grandparents, Joey and Monica Jordan, and Glen and Jane Erwin, maternal great-grandparents, Scott and Helen Jolley, and Paul and Ruby Stancil, aunts, Collette and Meredith Jordan, and uncle, Avery Jordan. Besides his parents, survivors are his brother, Chase "Tripp" Jordan III, maternal grandfather, Rev. Jamie Stancil, paternal aunt and uncles, Danielle Jordan, Colton Jordan, and Cayden Jordan, maternal aunts and uncles, Scott and Amy Stancil, and Mark and Michelle Stancil, and a number of great-aunts and great-uncles and other cousins. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in the Jordan Baptist Church C

Sheraton Stancil

  Sheraton Stancil 1964-2023 (age 59) Mrs. Sheraton "Sheri" J. Stancil, age 59, of 1480 Jordan Rd, Jonesville, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at her residence, following complications of a stroke she had in May. Mrs. Stancil was receiving hospice care. She was born on February 9, 1964, and was a daughter of the late Scott and Helen Jolley.  She was a faithful member of Cash Memorial Baptist Church where she was the pastor's wife and the church secretary. She leaves behind her precious husband, Reverend James "Jamie" Stancil, sons, Scott Stancil and wife Amy, of Ridgewood, and Mark Stancil and wife Michelle, of West Minersville, daughter, Katelynn Stancil Jordan and husband CJ, of Jonesville, grandchildren, Jake Stancil, Richmond Stancil, Madelyn Stancil, and Chase Jordan, brother, Scott Jolley Jr and wife Linda, of West Minersville, and sister, Maggie West and husband Dean. Kevin Rivers

  Kevin Rivers 1967-2023 (age 56) Kevin Harris Rivers, age 56, of Ridgewood, died Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Brookview Hospice House. Kevin was the son of the late Marlene Rivers. He was a member of Oak Baptist Church and worked at Coca-Cola for over 20 years. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle R. Holcomb and husband Brad, Stephanie R. Williams and husband Tate, and Jessica Rivers, and a grandson, Harris Holcomb. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm Friday, July 14, 2023 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. The Service will be held at 6 pm Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hopkins officiating. The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with the services. 

Roy Harrison

Roy Harrison 1927-2023 (age 95)  Roy Harrison, age 95, of Ridgewood, died Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Ellenwood Home, following a brief illness. Roy was born on September 18, 1927, in Ridgewood, to the late Phillip and Esther Harrison. He was a retired pastor, retiring from Morgan Baptist Church. He was a member of Ridgewood Community Church at the time of his passing.  He is survived by his sons, Thomas Harrison and wife Kathy, of Ridgewood, and Leroy Harrison and wife Geneva, of Jonesville, daughter, Brenda Norris and husband Terry, of Ridgewood, grandchildren, Thomas Harrison Jr and wife Misty, of Eastwood, Matthew Harrison and wife Kendra, of Minersville, Peter Harrison and wife Megan, of Jonesville, and Kevin Norris and wife Gina of Ridgewood, and 8 great-grandchildren. Inez Marlowe

  Inez Marlowe 1939-2023 (age 84) Inez Porter Marlowe, age 84, of Jonesville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at her residence, following a brief battle with cancer. Inez was born on May 15, 1939, to the late Boyd and Bertha Reece Porter. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School, and a member of Poplar Ridge Baptist Church.
