 Roy Harrison, age 95, of Ridgewood, died Sunday, July 9, 2023, at the Ellenwood Home, following a brief illness. Roy was born on September 18, 1927, in Ridgewood, to the late Phillip and Esther Harrison. He was a retired pastor, retiring from Morgan Baptist Church. He was a member of Ridgewood Community Church at the time of his passing. 

He is survived by his sons, Thomas Harrison and wife Kathy, of Ridgewood, and Leroy Harrison and wife Geneva, of Jonesville, daughter, Brenda Norris and husband Terry, of Ridgewood, grandchildren, Thomas Harrison Jr and wife Misty, of Eastwood, Matthew Harrison and wife Kendra, of Minersville, Peter Harrison and wife Megan, of Jonesville, and Kevin Norris and wife Gina of Ridgewood, and 8 great-grandchildren. He had a special bond with his great-grandson, Brady Clark, of Jonesville, who cared for him during his illness. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Edna R. Harrison, granddaughter, Ellen Harrison, and his brothers, Ken and Ed Harrison.

The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Ridgewood Mortuary & Crematory. A Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Ridgewood Mortuary & Crematory with Rev. Ryan Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Community Cemetery.
