Kay Lee 1964 - 2024 (age 60) In the stillness of the morning on Friday, September 6th, 2024, Miss Kay Elaine Lee, of Ridgewood, faded from this life into the next, while at the McEntire Hospice House. Kay was born on September 1st, 1964, in Jones County where she lived her entire 60 years of life.  Kay is survived by her father, Ernest "Ernie" Blackwood Lee, who resides in Jonesville; her mother, Faye White and husband Bo, who reside in Brownsboro; her brothers, Ricky Lee and wife Marsha, who reside in Ridgewood; and Dennis Lee and husband Eddie, who reside in Asheville, N.C.; a special niece who was her best-friend, Maria Lee Ellis and husband Tom Jr., who reside in Ridgewood; and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was a writer, who wrote over fifteen children's books, and nine young-adult novels. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School and later attended The Ohio State University. Gail Wright

  Gail Wright 1954 - 2024 (age 70) Gail Lewis Wright, age 70, of Jonesville, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024. Gail was born in Ridgewood, on January 20, 1954, to the late Ferman Lewis and the late Pauline Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wright. Gail loved to read and garden and was a retired Real Estate Agent.  Survivors are her daughter, Laura Wilson (Ken), of Ridgewood, sisters, Pauline Condrey, of Jonesville, and Martha Dean, of Brownsboro, brother, Carl Lewis, of Minersville, granddaughters, Kendyl Wilson and Averiana Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.  A Memorial Celebration and Gathering will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory.  The family has trusted Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with arrangements. 

Phoebe Carver

Phoebe Carver 1974 - 2024 (age 49) Phoebe McDonald Carver, age 49, of Ridgewood, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the McEntire Hospital. Phoebe was born on October 3, 1974 in Jones County to Eva Lail McDonald and the late Cleveland Randall McDonald. She was a 1993 graduate of Ridgewood High School and worked for 30 years as a Real Estate Agent for New Day Realty. She was a member of Oak Baptist Church and enjoyed playing the guitar.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 26 years, Beavis Carver, her son, Gregory Carver (Karen), daughters, Virginia Hanks (Ethan), and Ronda Carver, grandchildren, Dirk Hanks, Jason Carver, Destiny Carver, Ronda Hanks, Ethan Carver, and Sal Carver, sisters, Scarlett Sprinkle (John), and Avis McDonald, brothers, Randy McDonald, and Daryl McDonald, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jalen Carver. Christian Scott

  Christian Scott 1998 - 2024 (age 26) Christian Noah Scott Sr, age 26, of Ridgewood, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, and was joined on his trip to heaven by his wife, Emma Nicole Scott. He was a member of Christian Plains Baptist Church and served as the Deacon Chairman. He was a 2016 graduate of Ridgewood High School and a 2020 graduate of East Tennessee State University. He sold insurance for Campbell and loved to travel with his wife and son. Survivors are his son, Noah Scott Jr., of the home, his parents, Josh and Stacy Scott, brother, Christopher Scott and wife Ashlen, sister, Chloe Scott,  all of Ridgewood,  grandparents, Danny Scott, Darla Owens, and Gene and Marsha Miller, and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Nicole Scott 2000 - 2024 (age 24) Emma Nicole Scott, age 24, of Ridgewood, died on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 and was joined on her trip to heaven by her husband, Christian Noah Scott. She was a member of Christian Plains Baptist Church. Nicole was a 2018 graduate of Ridgewood High School and a 2022 graduate of East Tennessee State University. She worked most recently for Campbell Insurance as an administrative assistant. She loves traveling and shopping.  Survivors are her son, Noah Scott Jr., of the home, her parents, Sean Hampton and wife Ashley, of Jonesville, and Kim Henry and husband Brian, of Nashville, brother,  Malachi Hampton, grandparents, Fred and Judy Hampton, and Ben and Wanda Lowery, and a number of aunts and uncles and cousins.  A time of visitation will be given from 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. Elijah Arrowood

Elijah Arrowood 2003 - 2024 (age 21) Elijah "Eli" Ray Arrowood, age 21, of Jonesville, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the McEntire Hospice House.  Eli was born on March 17, 2003 in Jones County to Mike Graham Arrowood and Misha Jolly Arrowood, who are residents of Jonesville. He was a faithful member of McArthur Baptist Church and a graduate of Jonesville High School. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, and watching sports. He was a loving brother, son, grandson, and friend.  He was preceded in death by his bestfriend and brother, Nathan Graham Arrowood on February 5, 2024.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Logan Wilson, his brother, Austin Arrowood and wife Riley, sister-in-law, Kylie Arrowood, grandparents, Ray and Sally Arrowwod, and Glen and Patricia Jolly, great-grandparents, Earl and Flossie Arrowood, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  The family will receive friends Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Cremator

Jenny Allen

Jenny Allen 1950 - 2024 (age 74) Jenny Kay Allen, age 74, of Ridgewood, died Friday, July 19, 2024, at her residence, following a battle with cancer. Jenny was born on May 16, 1950 in Jones County to the late Joseph Allen and the late Penelope Whitaker Allen. She was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and a member of Oak Baptist Church. Jenny formerly managed Evans Floral Garden where she worked many years alongside her sister and bestfriends. Survivors are her brother-in-law, Jimmy Walker, nephews, Lance Walker (Lilly), Lenny Walker (Lynn), and Colt Walker, and 4 great-nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her bestfriend, Shelia Evans (Bobby). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her little sister, Karen Walker, on July 2, 2024.
