Michael Ray Marlowe, age 54, of Jonesville, died at

the McEntire Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born in Jones County to Ray Marlowe and Eloise Reynolds Marlowe, of Jonesville. He was a member of Oak Baptist Church and attended The Well Church. Michael was a 1988 graduate of Jonesville High School and a graduate of Brownsboro Diesel College. He retired from Goforth Diesel Service and was currently working for Klark Construction until his illness. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kimberly Hoyle Marlowe, and sons, David Marlowe and Caden Marlowe. 

In addition to his parents, survivors are his wife, Shelley Kimbrell Marlowe, of the home, son, Joshua Marlowe and wife Alex, of Jonesville, daughter, Morgan Marlowe, of the home, grandson, Mason Marlowe, brother, Keith Marlowe and wife Rose of Orange Valley, stepdaughter, Mackenzie Kimbrell, of the home, nephews, Alex Marlowe and wife Olivia, and Ayden Marlowe and wife Kennedy, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. The funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in the Well Church with Reverend Eli Wood and Reverend Brandon Douglas officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Tim Hopkins officiating.
