Steve Marshall, age 78, of Ridgewood, died at his home on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born on April 3, 1946 in Jones County to the late Bonnie Marshall Duffy. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, S.P. Duffy. Steve was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and Jonesville Technical Community College. He was a member of the Ridgewood Community Church where he served on the Security Team. Steve was retired from the Ridgewood Historical Society as a Curator and Museum Director. 

Survivors are his wife, Brenda Parton Marshall, of the home, his daughter, Karla M. Phan (Dwayne), of Ridgewood, son, Henry Marshall (Ramona), of Jonesville, brothers, Jerry Duffy and Keith Duffy, both of Ridgewood, and three grandsons, Jimmy Phan (Ashley), Juan Phan, and Caleb Marshall, and a great-grandson, Toby Phan. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. The service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Ridgewood Community Church with Reverend Ryan Holt officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgewood Community Cemetery.
