1944 - 2024 (age 80)

Christine Joelene Anderson Helton, age 80, of Ridgewood, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born April 16, 1944, in Jones County, to the late George Anderson and the late Pauline Jones Anderson. Christine was a member at Godfrey’s Creek Presbyterian Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Donny Helton, son, Sam Helton and wife Loretta, daughter, Faith Melton and husband Dean, grandchildren, Austin Helton and wife Avery, Ayden Helton and fiance Megan Long, and Marcus Melton and wife Ashley, great-grandchildren, Zachary Helton, Sidney-Anna Helton, Sasha Long, and Bexton Melton, sister, Dottie Palmer and husband Ray, and brother, Billy Anderson. There are also several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends Monday, November 11, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Godfrey’s Creek Presbyterian Church with Reverend Dicky Haynes officiating. Interment will follow in the Ridgewood Community Cemetery. 

The Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory has been entrusted with the services.
