Lucy Davis 1940 - 2024 (age 83) Lucy McCombs Davis, age 83, of Ridgewood, widow of the late George Earl Davis, passed away at the Brookview Assisted Living Center on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Survivors are her children, Reverend Jerry Earl Davis (Paula), and George Michael Davis (Phyllis), grandchildren, Matt Davis (Morgan), Timothy Davis, Luke Davis (Maddie), Travis Davis (Samantha), and Tristan Davis, great-grandchildren, Chloe Davis, Winston Davis, Samuel Davis, and Valerie Davis, brother, Paul McCombs, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A simple graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, November 24, 2024 in the New Day Memorial Park with Reverends Jerry Davis and Harry Davis officiating. The family has trusted Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with the arrangements. 

  Morton Webb 1950 - 2024 (age 74) Jerry Morton Webb, age 74, of Jonesville, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was born on April 16, 1950 in Jones County to the late John Webb, and the late Maggie King Webb. He was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and retired from Shell.  Survivors are a son, Jeremy Webb (Abby), of Ridgewood, grandsons, Jaxon Webb (Madelyn), and Hunter Webb, great-granddaughter, Maileigh Webb, brother, Joey Webb (Ruby), of Ridgewood, and his extended family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Tammy Smith.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. A celebration of Morton’s life will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with Reverend Bruce Holt officiating.  The Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements. ...

  Christine Helton 1944 - 2024 (age 80) Christine Joelene Anderson Helton, age 80, of Ridgewood, passed away at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born April 16, 1944, in Jones County, to the late George Anderson and the late Pauline Jones Anderson. Christine was a member at Godfrey’s Creek Presbyterian Church.  She is survived by her husband, Donny Helton, son, Sam Helton and wife Loretta, daughter, Faith Melton and husband Dean, grandchildren, Austin Helton and wife Avery, Ayden Helton and fiance Megan Long, and Marcus Melton and wife Ashley, great-grandchildren, Zachary Helton, Sidney-Anna Helton, Sasha Long, and Bexton Melton, sister, Dottie Palmer and husband Ray, and brother, Billy Anderson. There are also several nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends Monday, November 11, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory.
