Karen Allen Walker, age 65, of Ridgewood, died Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the McEntire Hospice House. She was born on December 23, 1958, in Jones County to the late Joseph Allen and the late Penelope Whitaker Allen. Karen was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and a member of Oak Baptist Church. She was a florist for many years working at Evans Floral Garden.

Survivors are her husband, Jimmy Walker, sons, Lance Walker (Lilly), Lenny Walker (Lynn), and Colt Walker, grandchildren, Evelyn King (Christopher), Ella Walker, Terrance Walker, Andrea Walker,  and sister, Jenny Allen. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Oak Baptist Church. The service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Taylor and Reverend Tim Hopkins officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. The Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory has been trusted with the services.
