Thomas Hunter Millwood, age 27, of Ellenwood, passed away at the Walton Hospital on Sunday, June 16, 2024, following complications of an automobile accident. Hunter was born June 24, 1996 in Jones County and was a son of Charles and Misty Gaines Millwood, of Ellenwood. He was a member of Oak Baptist Church and a graduate of East Jones County High School. Hunter also graduated from the University of Tennessee and was a Banker at the Truist Bank in Jonesville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Emma McLellan Millwood, of the home, son, Tyler Thomas Millwood, of the home, sister, Ashley Miranda Millwood, of Ellenwood, brother, Christian Millwood and fiance Makayla Austin, of Jonesville, paternal grandparents, Patrick and Joann Millwood, of Ridgewood, maternal grandparents, Steve and Eleanor Gaines, of Brownsboro, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Elijah Holden officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oak Baptist Church. The family has trusted the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with the arrangements.
