Earl Dean Epley, age 93, of Ridgewood, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Earl was born on December 23, 1930, in Jones County to the late Otis Epley and the late Mary Ryder Epley. Earl was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and a member of Oak Baptist Church. He retired from Belk. In his free time, he enjoyed watching all sports.

He is survived by his son, George Epley (Priscilla), grandsons, Zachary Epley (Hannah) and David Epley (Christina), and three great-granddaughters, Chloe, Marissa, and Maddie Epley. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgie Epley, and a host of siblings.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 24, 2024 in the Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Timothy Hopkins officiating. Visitation will proceed the service for one hour. The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory.
