1948 - 2024 (age 76)

Thomas Bradley Ills, age 76, of Ridgewood, formerly of Asheville, NC, died Saturday, May 4, 2024 at his residence following a lengthy illness. Brad was born on March 19, 1948 in Asheville, NC, to the late Robert Ills, and the late Frances Ills. He was a member of Ridgewood Community Church. Brad retired from Asheville Honda.

He is survived by a brother, Ben Ills and wife Wanda, of Loganville, GA, sisters, Diane Vernon and husband Arthur, of Asheville, NC, and Opal Baber and husband Paul, of Brownsboro, a stepdaughter-in-law, Meghan Jordan, of Jonesville, step-grandson, Joseph Jordan, of Jonesville, and a sister-in-law, Betty Wall and husband Danny, of Rigewood. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Glenda W. Ills, in 2023, his stepson, Joseph Jordan III, in 2021, and 2 stepgrandchildren, Max and June Jordan. 

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Ryan Holt officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Hospice Charity, or to Relay for Life.
