2001 - 2024 (age 22)

Riley Carter Vess, age 22, passed away at his residence on April 3, 2024 following a sudden illness. Riley was born on April 20, 2001, to Erica Camp Vess, and the late Max "Tripp" Vess III. He was an employee of Builds Brothers Construction, a member of Oak Baptist Church, and thoroughly enjoyed family time and camping. He was a lover of everything outdoors.

In addition to his mother, survivors are his fiance, Morgan Marie Carter, his brother, Taylor Vess and wife Jesse, his sister, Maddie V. Lancaster and husband Jack, his nephew, Max Vess IV, his paternal grandmother, Darlene Vess, and maternal grandparents, Sean and Brenda Camp.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Max Vess Jr.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 8:30 pm at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. A Service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, April 8, 2024 at 2:30 pm at the Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Hopkins and Reverend Trason Moore officiating. Interment will follow the service in the New Day Memorial Park. The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with the services.
