1942 - 2024 (age 82)

Franklin "Frank" Dean Sanders, age 82, of Ridgewood, died at the Mountaintop Hospice House, on Friday, April 5, 2024. Frank was born on January 13, 1942 in Jones County to the late Erland and Martina Sanders. He was a member of West Brownsboro United Methodist Church for numerous years. He retired from the Jones County School System where he was the dietary manager for over 20 years. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Melody McCartney Sanders, his daughter, April Murphy and husband Chris, his son-in-law, Gary White, and a grandson, Chad White and wife Amanda.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Candace White, and his brother, Earl Sanders.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. A Graveside service will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 4:00 pm in the Brownsboro Cemetery.  The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with the arrangements.
