1929 - 2024 (age 94)

Bobby David Young, age 94, of Ridgewood, died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at his residence. He was born May 5, 1929 in Jones County to the late David Young and the late Molly Earle Atkins. He graduated from Ridgewood High School. Bobby retired from Willow Life Insurance and was a member of Carter Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Young, his daughters, Harper Twain and husband Vernon, and Emma Bohner and husband Juan, his son, Clint Young and wife Margie, and his grandchildren, Jayla Bigg and husband Travis, Amy Young, Cesar Young, Larry Young, Willy Young, and Stephanie Bohner. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Oliver Young, his stepfather, Oliver Atkins, and his stepsisters, Cheri Atkins and Jasmin Hughes.

A Visitation will be held from 3-4 pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. Interment will immediately follow in the Meadow Springs Cemetery. 

The Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory has been trusted with the services.
