1934 - 2024 (age 90)

Ruby Faye Miller (Cobb) Daniels, age 90, died March 7, 2024 at the McEntire Hospice House. Ruby was born on February 11, 1934 in Jones County to the late Paul Miller and the late Peggy Heavener Miller. She attended Ridgewood School through the ninth grade and worked for many years in the Jones County Chamber of Commerce. Following her retirement, Ruby worked as an assistant at the Withers Mortuary. She enjoyed Sewing and attending the Jones County Senior Center Activities. She was of the baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise D. Melvin (Tim), step-sons, Dwayne Daniels (Jan), and Donnie Daniels (Karen), step-daughters, Sandy Humphries (Ray), and Carla McFarland, granddaughter, Brooklyn McFalls (Dustin), great-grandson, Tate McFalls, sister, Martha Butler (Elvis), 9 step-grandchildren, 16 step-great-grandchildren, and 2 step-great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Lawerence Cobb, her second husband, Stanley Daniels, her brothers, Virgil Miller, Clarance Miller, Otis Miller, and Vonce Miller, her sisters, Clarice Bailey, Annette Gordon, and Eunice McIntosh, and her step-son, Marvin Cobb.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 3:00 pm until 4:00 pm at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. The service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory with Reverend Bruce Holt officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Community Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the McDaniel Center or to Camp Happy.
