Reverend Stancil

Reverend Stancil 1960-2023 (age 63) Reverend James "Jamie" Stancil, age 63, of 1480 Jordan Rd, Jonesville, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 21, 2023 at his residence. He was born on May 14, 1960 to the late Reverend Paul Stancil and the late Ruby Faye Stancil. He was the pastor of Cash Memorial Baptist Church for several years.  He leaves behind his sons, Scott Stancil and his wife Amy, and Mark Stancil and his wife Michelle, a daughter, Katelynn Jordan and her husband CJ, his grandchildren, Jake, Richmond, Madelyn, and Chase, sister, Maggie Stephenson and husband Ken, brother-in-law, Gene Everett, and sister-in-law, Kaye Stancil. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sheraton "Sheri" Stancil, his brother, Reverend Arthur Stancil, and his sister, Paula Everett. The family will receive friends at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory on Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 5-7:30 pm. A Worship Service in his memory will be conducted at

Emerson Parker

  Emerson Parker 2004-2023 (age 19) Emerson Nicole Parker (Williams), age 19, died August 6, 2023 at the McEntire Hospital following complications of child birth. Ms. Emerson was the oldest child of Thomas "Tom" and Stephanie W. Parker. She was a 2022 graduate of Ridgewood High School and a member of Jordan Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Jaidyn and Macy Parker, grandparents, Tracy and Tamara Parker and Randy and Frieda Wood. She also leaves behind her fiance's family, Daniel and Amanda Williams, D.M. Williams and wife Hailey, Marina Bentley and husband Isaac, and his nieces, nephew, and grandparents. She was preceded in death by her fiance, David "Morgan" Williams on July 25, 2023, and her infant son, David Morgan Williams Jr on August 5, 2023. The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Ridgewood Mortuary and Crematory. A Service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 12, 2023 at

Morgan Williams August 5, 2023 David Morgan Williams Jr, was born and died on August 5, 2023 at the McEntire Hospital. David was the only child of Emerson Nicole Parker and the late David Morgan Williams.  He will be missed by his paternal grandparents, Daniel and Amanda Williams, maternal grandparents, Tom and Stephanie Parker, paternal uncles and aunts, Daniel M. Williams and wife Hailey, and Marina W. Bentley and husband Isaac, maternal aunts, Jaidyn and Macy Parker, paternal great-grandparents, Donald and Leslie Williams and Ray and Lisa Carpenter, and maternal great-grandparents, Tracy and Tamara Parker, and Randall and Frieda Wood. He also leaves behind several first cousins.  Along with his father, he is joining his paternal great-grandmother, Susan Carpenter. Interment will be private in the Jordan Baptist Church Cemetery. The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary & Crematory with the services.   

Tracy Parker

  Tracy Parker 1964-2023 (age 59) Tracy Davidson Parker, age 59, of Ridgewood, died August 4, 2023 at her residence following a battle with several diseases. She was born on January 30, 1964 to Ms. Primrose Reese and the late Evan Davidson. Mrs. Parker was a member of Orange Valley United Methodist Church and a teacher at Jones County Elementary.  Tracy leaves behind her mother, her husband, Carl Parker, daughter, Rose P. Taylor and husband Brent, sister, Vanessa D. Bimsbee and husband Larry, step-father, Hugh Reese, and 2 grandchildren, Boyd Taylor and Ryan Taylor. Tracy was preceded in death by her father. A Service will be held at 2:30 pm August 7, 2023 at the Orange Valley United Methodist Church with Reverend Teresa Rice officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the Eastern Hills Memorial Park. The family has entrusted the Ridgewood Mortuary & Crematory.
